But that is not the case, even they are raised separately they are attracted to the same things.

And it might be exactly what you are going to say.

When you are at home you are just thinking about food that you like, and your father might bring it for you at night even though you did not give a single clue about it. That is also a kind of telepathic connection. You may have friends who have the same taste or a brother/sister it means you share a deep loving connection with them. So telepathy is not something genetically comes, we can say it is all about your bond with the other. Also, it might be your brain that predicts what others going to say or think since you already know their personalities.
