1. Soft soap as a cleaning ingredient.

If your carpets have stains on them, you can use soft soap to remove them. First take a wet cloth and wipe away the stains and repeat the process as required.

2. Shaving cream is another option.

Similar to the soft soap, you can use shaving cream for removing stains on the carpets. Start spraying some shaving cream on the carpet and rub it well. Next, you can dab the carpet with a hot water and a towel.

3. Sparkling mineral water

Perhaps you already know that sparkling mineral water contains carbon dioxide gas in it. You can put some sparkling mineral water in a spray bottle and spray on fresh stains. Then, you will experience instant results.

4. Baking soda as a cleaning method.


If your carpets have some old stains on it, the above-mentioned methods might not work. However, there is nothing to worry as you have the baking soda option with you. Keep in mind that old stains take some time to heal. Therefore, sprinkle some baking soda on the carpet and leave it to work overnight. After that, you can notice how the stain has vanished.

Cleaning carpeted stairs and learning how they get damaged and dirty is equally important. Because knowing the ways of damage allows you to refrain from making further damage. And also, you need to be aware of the type of carpet you use. Some people use synthetic carpets that are prone to damage with continuous walking on it. Cleaning carpeted stairs is a tiresome effort. Because they absorb more dust, and their stains are not easily disappearing. Therefore, you need to try some ways to clean them with some extra effort. So, today we thought of bringing you a check list for cleaning your carpeted stairs.

Step one: Stiff Brush 

Here, you can opt to stiff brush in order to loosen any hardened debris and dirt on your stairs. If you don’t have a stiff brush, use a special attachment for your vacuum cleaner that helps to remove ground in dirt. When starting the cleaning process, start from the top staircase and continue up to down. In this way, you can collect all the debris and avoid them trampling into the carpet again.

Step Two: Vacuum 

This is the commonest method that most cleaning procedures will follow. For this, you can use a powerful cordless vacuum that sucks up the dirt from the carpet. When vacuuming, the best way is to use a cordless battery powered vacuum or a lightweight vacuum with a long power cord.

Step Three: Shampoo 

If you do not know yet, Shampoo is a powerful detergent. Most of your stains will disappear with good amount of shampoo. So that, scrub each stair with shampoo until you they get back to the normal look.

Step Four: Dry 

Cleaning and drying the carpet are necessary for the long-lasting nature of the carpet. If you tend to leave the wet carpets without any remedy, they get damp for a long time with germs inside. So, make sure that you use an absorbent towel or a carpet cleaner, to remove the excess water in it.

Step Five: Vacuum

After removing excess water, leave them overnight to dry. Once the stars are completely dry, you can vacuum once again. By doing that, carpets tend to remove any debris and return to a fresh look.
